OPPO has announced it will reveal ColorOS 12 at a global virtual launch event on 11th October at 10am BST on YouTube. ColorOS 12 will include a customisable, accessible design, alongside new features that deliver strong performance.  The rollout timeline for ColorOS 12 will also be disclosed during the event.

Based on Android 12, the latest OS from OPPO will bring upgrades to over 110 OPPO models and 150 million users worldwide, making it the fastest and widest reaching ColorOS update ever.


OPPO will also announce a major update policy during the event. For OPPO devices which have launched since 2019, the company will guarantee three major Android updates for its flagship Find X Series devices[1], two Android updates for the Reno/F/K Series, and an Android update in some A Series models[2]. This announcement comes alongside four years of regular security patch updates for the Find X, Reno, F and K Series, and three years for the A Series.

[1] Excluding the Find X Lite and Neo models, which will be applied to two Android updates.
