Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to have battery limited

It has been rumoured fro a while that Samsung would update recalled Galaxy Note 7 units to limit their maximum charge to 60 percent, however up until now there was nothing official from Samsung. It now seems that Samsung Australia has finally made it official. Defective Note 7s purchased in Australia will receive an update to cap their maximum charge at 60 percent of the full battery capacity, effectively limiting the battery to 2100mAh.
