The Xiaomi Mi Box has arrived online for sale

Chinese import site Aliexpress has listed the Xiaomi Mi Box for sale for $90 today. This recently announced Android TV Box helped folks keep the hope when Google pulled the Nexus Player from the Play Store and speculation began that Android TV was dieing. Xiaomi’s interpretation met with little criticism as the manufacturer was know for highly competitive prices combined with a better build quality. An updated Nexus Player coming soon?

Hard to believe however almost 18 months ago Google and Asus launched the first Android TV devices in late 2014. After a year and a half on the market, the Nexus Player was quietly removed from the Play Store and is now no longer available for purchase.
