Google has taken their time to develop a popular messaging system, tearing up the old and starting again on the odd occasion. With their latest attempts Duo and Allo currently in Pre-register stages this is time for a messaging client to strike and steal the show. Apple are rumoured to be announcing iMessage encrypted text messaging is to be coming to Android users at WWDC next Monday at WWDC 2016, according to a source close to Apple. The source states keynotes and the timing of the announcement could change closer to the time, however the crucial word used is that iMessage instant messenger service would “definitely” be coming to Android this year.
This will allow Android and iOS users to communicate securely within the one client as iMessage features end-to-end encryption and between platforms. iMessage is also compatible with Mac computer’s running OS X Mountain Lion or later.
