The first image of the Honor 9 pops up as we look at what to expect next week
Easily on of the best phones of last year, the Honor 8 is due to be refreshed and we will learn of this in the next few days, on June 12th. In the meantime a photo of the retail box of the Honor 9 has popped up online and whilst the box is hardly terribly exciting, the inquisitive looking monkey has a reason to look somewhat perplexed, the watermark. In the lower left-hand corner we appear to have been treated to the first public image taken by the Honor 9’s camera array, however, the image is compressed through the Chinese social network’s servers and therefore unfit for quality analysis. Word is, the dual camera of the Honor 9 will have 20 MP and 12 MP sensor with the secondary camera able to capture wide-angle photos.
We are hoping the rumours are correct for the Honor 9 as they suggest the phone might be equipped with an octa-core processor clocked a 2.4GHz, and will probably possess a Kirin 960 CPU. There is tell that the Honor 9 could have a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and will house 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage that can actually be expanded with a microSD card. A 3,900 mAh battery might be inside and all things could run on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. More details about the Honor 9 shows that it would weigh 184g and will measure 157mm x 77.5mm x 6.96g. Also, the mobile device should come with a fingerprint sensor to the rear and images show a gold colour however in previous variants colours have been region specific. Connectivity options should include infrared, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G LTE with VolTE, and UB.
