Eve looking at the Pyramid Flipper form factor

You may have missed it however last year Finnish company Eve released entry level Windows 8.1 tablet called the T1, this was seen to be a cheap, solid and all round good performer by many. Now, Eve are following up with a Windows 10 2-in-1 device. Konstantinos Karatsevidis, CEO and Co-founder told tech website Neowin that their new device will be the first to support Intel’s upcoming 7th-gen Kaby Lake processor when launched. Most other manufacturers are still pushing the 6th-gen Intel Core M CPUs, as Eve used last year in the T1.

As the device is still underdevelopment the specifications could change however the term “Pyramid Flipper” is an indicator that the form factor will be similar to Microsoft’s Surface devices featuring the integrated kickstand. Eve’s forum show they have been engaging their followers and customers to find out what they want with a “tablet first” or “laptop first” approach, tablet being the favourite.
