A new Acer Chromebook 11 has shown up at Computex Taipei 2017. This looks to be a high-end option in the smaller form factor, featuring 8GB RAM, Core i3 or Core i5 processor and a touchscreen. The laptop alternative is also a MIL-STD-810G tested device which means it has a ruggedised design to help survive classroom use.
Here is the specs sheet, at least what is available for now:
- 7th Gn Intel Coe i3/i5 Celeron Processors
- Military Grade Impact Resistence
- Unique Liquid Drainage Design
- Up to 13-hour Battery Life.
- RAM options are available from 2GB to 8GB.
- USB Type C connectivity
- USE-A 3.0
11″ Acer Chromebooks have been very popular and respected in the past and this looks to continue that mould. With a terrific array of ports, you get USB Type C, HDMI, USB-A 3.0, and headphone jack on the left and a MicroSD card slot, another USB-A and Kensington lock on the right, there is little to fault at this time.
