Sales of wireless headphones have leapt threefold in the last twelve months according to leading online retailer Argos. The number of Bluetooth headphones have risen by 343 per cent according to sales data – led by mobile phone users who have found that their handsets no longer have a headphone socket. Argos’s sales of…

The Apple iPhone X in a nutshell

Leaks and unofficial renders did not spoil the show for Apple last night as they launched a new device. The iPhone X, as in 10, not the letter X, is the true device of the Apple keynote and reserved for the much coveted “One more time” segment on the 10th-anniversary device of the iPhone’s launch. The iPhone X (remember, that’s iPhone 10) might have some of the wind taken from its sails with the recent Essential Ph-1, an edge to edge screen with only a small cut in for some camera optics at the top.…

One of the, but certainly not the most, anticipated products was the successors to the current iPhone line. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were shown and they are not dissimilar in looks to the iPhone 7. As you would expect, Apple is keeping things in line with the previous generation and not radically revolutionising the phone, however, some of the new hardware features include support…

Ever looked at your iPhone 7 and thought “you know what would make this phone better – more screens!”? Well someone at InkCase certainly did and came up with a protective case for your iPhone that has an e-ink screen on the back. The first thing you notice as soon as you remove the case from the package is just how unnaturally light it seems, especially for something that contains a screen, battery, Bluetooth and changing system. Apple’s new hardware in a nutshell

First up is the new hardware. The Apple HomePod is essentially the Apple alternative to Google Home or the Amazon Echo.  Apple has taken a standard approach to the HomePod not really pushing particular boundaries unless of course, you count the price tag. At $349 the HomePod is almost twice the price of the competition and will require a $10 monthly subscription to Apple Music to get the most out of it. “Hey Siri” are your keywords here and questions can be rattled off, hopefully with a higher success rate than…
