Alcatel smartphones, tablets and VR experiences for Gen Z at IFA 2016

Alcatel looks set to show off their VR Gear tonight in Berlin. Having busily pushed out a number of very competent devices over the last year, Alcatel is fast becoming a consumer favourite. Heck, even Blackberry use them. Teasing a “brand new vision” on their website Alcatel are being fairly secretive about what’s up their sleeves, and one might think it’s something special. Something with a 360° camera flavour perhaps?

Alcatel recognizes that millennials and Gen Z consumers want to interact with technology in a way that makes them feel good – a way that allows them to seize the moment, spread joy and live life to the fullest. Now.

TCL Communication has developed a range of mobile devices under the Alcatel brand , from premium-design smartphones to zippy tablets and visionary virtual reality products, all with distinctive designs for twentysomethings… and, of course, former twentysomethings.

Besides the launch of the new range of products, IFA will also be the perfect occasion to announce new partnerships with four of the world’s most innovative 360° camera makers.

One thing that sets TCL Communication apart is the number of its R&D centers and the fact that it provides end-to-end delivery of its Alcatel-branded products — from design to manufacturing. This enables us to deliver leading innovations in no time, like when the company announced its flagship IDOL4 with Virtual Reality headset at MWC. IFA follows suite and  Visitors to Alcatel’s IFA booth will not only be able to test the brand’s products but also to step into Alcatel’s world of virtual reality, with products and apps that are one step ahead.
